My Unforgettable Camp Blog Memories and Experience…..

In my 5^th day here in Camp Blog 2011,I have a lot of unforgettable experience,many first time experience and of course I gain a lot of lesson.

My first time experience here was to make our personal blog,online school paper and also my life here because this was the first time that I’ve been in other place without my mother.Thus,this was also the first time that I’ve missed my mother so much.Inspite of this,I never regret that I’ve been here because it was a lot of fun during our daily activities.The most memorable moment of all was when we went to the Baybay Public Market and our campus your here at VSU.Actually,the tour is my most awaited moment since I’ve arrived here in Visca.I was very glad that I am one of the participant of this workshop because I learned o lot of ideas regarding on how to make an online school paper.

In this last entry,I’d wanna thank Ma’am Vikki,Ma’am Liz,Sir Kairus,Mr.Jimmy Domingo,Mr.Joe Torres and to all the faculty and staff of VSU for sharing their ideas to us.And also for all the help that they’ve been doing on us whenever we had a problem.I wanna remember this experience for the rest of my life and I will never forget Ma’am Vikki,Ma’am Liz and Sir Kairus for they are very approachable and friendly on us.

What I learned from the multimedia modules and the field work……

In our 4^th day here in Camp Blog,I had a lot of fun.As well as,I learned a lot of idea regarding to the Photojournalism,on how to took a beautiful pictures,to took a bird’s eye view and worm’s eye view.Also,the tips on how to took a good shot and also to change the image size and to set the ISO.

What I liked most was when we went to the Baybay Public Market,in which we are asked to took a pictures for our theme “meat” and for the general.It was very exciting to took pictures in the market because the vendors were very friendly and they were surprised when we were taking pictures on them.I’d really enjoyed it even if I didn’t deliver a really good photos.But inspite all of these,i wanna thank Mr.Jimmy Domingo for sharing his idea to us.

Insights in converting our work into electronic form………..

Camp Blog 2011,today,I really felt that this was the reason of why we are here at Visca,Baybya,Leyte.We made our official schoolpaper on online.In the whole day,we are editing it on what Mr.Torres to us to change in our school blog.From how to post the articles and photos and how to categorize the different categories like editorials,features and news. As of now,we only have 3 categories with 5 articles—–1 editorial,2 features and 2 news because it has been a long and tired day for us.And all we need is to rest.But as the day ends I also considered this as a fullfillment in our journey here in Camp Blog because at last,we’ve already started our school publication on online.

What I learned from the self study modules………

                     For today,I earned a lot of learnings regarding to the module.Including the basics of effective writing,the similarities and difference between online writing and printing,the attributes of well-written online articles and a lot more.Also I learned how to make a research and the information on how we must ask questions to get the correct result for what is the certain topic or word that we are searching for.But what I liked most was all about blogging.I’m glad that i’ve already knew how to make my personal blog.It was exciting that we had made a blog for ourselves.We learned a lot from it,on how to change the themes,to add headers and a lot more regarding on blogging.I think these are enough because I can’t recall all the things that i’ve gain today.

What I learned from the lecture on online newspapers?

What I learned from the lecture on online newspaper?

           I learned from the lecture that as a writer,we need to know first the purpose of why am I writing,for whom am I writing and about what am I writing,inorder for us to create a meaningful and beautiful article.We don’t need to use a words or phrases if it is not needed and if it doesn’t fit on a certain topic.We also have to check our punctuations and we should be careful of building our sentences,if necessary.So that it will not mess our write-ups.And in writing an online newspaper,we need to write the details of a certain topic direct to the point.

           The most important thing that i’ve learned is the difference of using between online newspaper and the usual newspaper.And I realize that the online newspaper is more applicable than the usual because its more faster and the readers will more appreciate it due to the new generation nowadays.
